The specifications of my main character are:

Gender - Male
I want the main character to be a male, as i think it will mean the story makes more sense, as getting caught in the woods and your a female the audience will automatically assume rape so might not want to watch it, but whereas a male getting caught in the woods can lead to many different thing, so it will keep the audience guessing and hopefully make them want to watch more.

Age - 16-18
I have made the character quite young for a couple of reasons. One being that the younger the person is the more sympathy the audience will give them, and secondly the younger they are the less knowledge they might have so it makes the story more believable. Also if i make the person young it can lead on to more films in the series.

Height - 5'7 or below
This is because i want them to be quite small to make the audience emphasise more with him as they associate small with helpless and more of an easy target.

Ethnicity -  Caucasian

Hair Colour - Blonde
Blonde is a hair colour associated with sweet Innocent people. I want this to come across to the audience as then subconsciously then start to emphasise with him more, and i want this to happen to make what happens to him have a bigger impact on the viewer.

I decided to use one of my friends James Graham as an actor as he fitted all of the specifications, and could film on my planned filming days.
