Research On Thriller Titles

I decided i would research the type of text, font, colour etc of the titles in thriller films, to gain more understanding on what mine should look like.

The Bourne Supremacy's title looks very techno, connote the film is about spy's, and it gives a very official/government look. This title can show the audience the genre of the film. The font is very squared and is in a white (ish) colour. This is very helpful as it is basic but gives of a certain effect.
James Bond's Octopussy's title has big bold writing, which can connote an action film. Also the mix of red and which connotes a crime/spy thriller. Again very helpful as although basic fives of a certain feel to the audience.

North By Northwest has a big font size and like the bourne supremacy it is very squared. It has arrows in some of the letters which gives the audience some confusion.

It also has white writing which is very plain, and doesn't give much away.

Overall this has been very helpful, and i think i will use white coloured writing and also make it squared in my opening sequence to make it fit the thriller genre more. Also makes it fit in with there big thriller films.

Here is my final Title, i decided to play it over the video as the establishing shot needed something extra in it. I took on board everything that i learnt in the research and used squared white font and colour.
