Although i have done some planning i went back and done some research on companies that would distribute my product. I looked at three films and what companies distributed them.

When a Stranger Calls
Is distributed by Touchstone Pictures, and was distributed on DVD and cinema formats.

Taken

Is distributed by 20th Century Fox, and was distributed on DVD and cinema formats

The Silence Of The Lambs

Was distributed by Orion, and was distributed on DVD and cinema formats

This all helped me as i could see the distributors of over film in my genre and then pick one which would distribute my film.
