Research On Graphics

Graphics can be used to illustrate something that video couldn't.

Text normally appears at the start of a programme and as I'm doing and opening sequence i should do this. The text can be in a different style, colour, background etc and can come in at a different pace. You can also add music for the text. It can create different atmospheres. The main actors and directors are shown at the begging while also shown at the end along with the other actors and people who influenced it like cameramen/women.  I will be putting up the main actors names and the film title and me the directors name. Also at the end the will be more text saying present day.

Subtitles is when the dialogue also comes up as text at the bottom of the screen. This can be used to help people that are hearing-impaired. Although this will be a good option when distributing my film i don't think it will be necessary to do for the opening sequence.

Graphics like maps, graphs and diagrams can be used in documentaries and educational programmes to help explain stuff. But i don't need to use these as i want the audience to keep guessing.

Animation is creating an illusion of movement using graphics. Although i though before i even had ideas to maybe use animation i didn't thin i could get the same effect as recorded video.
