Research On Lighting

Lighting can be used to show certain things in the shot, but also can create shadows which wouldn't actually be in a certain location.

Soft Lighting can make a scene look more real and less intense, it can give a feeling of ease to the audience. and can make things look more beautiful. I don't really want to give a sense of ease to the audience as i want it to be quick and fast tempo with a sense of disorientation.

Harsh Lighting can make a scene look more artificial and more intense, it can give the audience and sense of discomfort and can make things look more ugly. I am planning on using this a lot as these are the feelings/emotions i ant to give to the audience.

Backlighting can make someone look more powerful, for example a heroine can be back lit to create a hale effect on her hair. I will be using this when someone covers up the person at the end to make them look like they are blocking the light.
